Today has been quite a day! I received a call from my three youngster's Elementary School this morning. The nurse explained to me that my second grader was crying and she said she felt nervous and that her heart was beating fast. The nurse checked her out and everything was great as far as her temperature and her vital signs. I spoke with my daughter on the phone asking her how she felt and if she could explain to me what happened that made her feel so nervous. She responded by saying she didn't know, I asked her if she had a nervous feeling about something during class. At this point, what I really wanted to say was, "please get yourself together, and go back to class, everything will be fine." Then I thought for a moment and put myself in her shoes.
