Hey Mom, What's For Dinner?

Oven Barbecued Citrus Chicken Wing Dings
Last night my Oven Barbecued Citrus Chicken was a hit with the family!! I am constantly looking for new and creative ways to brighten up my family's meals. If I come across a recipe, I often add my own twist to it to appeal to my entire family including my 7 year old who is a very picky eater ! Enough talk, let's get to the recipe.
What You will Need:
1 cup orange juice
2 table spoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of cinnamon
cooked chicken wing dings (easier for little hands to pick up and eat)
2 small oranges, sliced
*You can add lemon for that extra zest, and brown sugar as a sugar substitute
In a small pan mix orange juice/lemon juice, sugar and barbecue sauce; cook, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes. Heat the oven to 325 degrees. In a shallow baking pan place chicken on a single layer. Place the orange slices in between chicken. Pour the suace mixture over the top of the chicken and bake until is thoroughly cooked through and has a glaze to it. I let mine cook for about 45 minutes to give it that extra oven barbecued taste. I also served this delicious citrus chicken with brocolli and rice. Serve and enjoy!!
